Charikot is the district headquarters of Dolakha district and is beautiful place for sightseeing. The spectacular range of Rolwaling Himalayan Range including Mt. Gaurishanker can be observed from here. Meandering Tamakoshi River, Green hills and beautiful settlement can also seen from the location
· Dolakha Bhimsen
Also known as "One icon three incarnations". The Lord Bhimsen with boundless power is situated in Historical town Dolakha. It is believed that the statue of Bhimeshwor perspires before the grave crisis misfortune in the country. It is established in Kirant Period. Dozens of temples and Stupas including Bhimeshwor temple, Tripura Sundari, Mahakali are existing in that periphery. Various cultural festivals occurs continuously occur throughout the year. Thousands of Hindu Devotes gathers in the temple on Bala Chaturdarsi, Ekadasi and Ram Navami.

Abruptly raised hills, natural and cultural monuments, panoramic views of mountains, green and pleasant environment etc is the natural attractive for the tourists. Jiri being the gateway to Everest is the starting point of trekking to Everest, Dhudkunda, Jatapokhari and other major trekking destinations. Its geography and climatic condition is often comparing to the Zurich city of Switzerland. Beside its natural beauty and scenic view, Indigenous Jirel's traditional culture is another promising attraction of Jiri. Magnificent ancient monastery, Gompas, Stupas, Chorten, Religious temples, Church etc in Jiri signifies the cultural diversity.
· Kalinchowk Bagwoti
Kalinchowk Bhagwoti Temple lies 15 km north from Charikot in altitude of 3840 m carrying cultural significance. Thousands of devotes flock to this temple every year during the festival of Ram Navami, Janai Purnima and Naya Barsa. Beside cultural significance, the place offer natural scenic beauty. Panoramic view of mountain range, wide pastureland with grazing Yak and Chauri, blooming forest with verity of Rhododendrons of Kalinchowk is awe-inspiring.

About 5 miles southwest from district headquarter Charikot lies a Sailung hill composed of 100 hillocks. It is holy place of Sailungeshwor Mahadev and religious festival takes place during Janai Purnima, Bala Chaturdasi, and 12 years Godawari festival. It is best place to see sunrise, sunset and to enjoy the panoramic view of most of the snow peaks of Nepal like, Mt. Everest, Mt. Gaurishanker, Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Machhapuchre, Ganesh Himal etc.
· Tashi Gompa, Bigu
Tashi Gompa is one of the Historic Monastery of Nepal established by Bhutanese Monk, Duppa Rimpochhe. It has different identity among other Gompas of Nepal because, it is the first Gompa to train female monk (Aani) in Nepalese Buddhism History. Alampu's world class slate mines, Religious Baulapokhari and Diverse Community setting within small village are other attractions.
· Mt. Gaurishanker and Rolwaling Range
7134 m high Mt. Gaurishanker is synonymes with God Shiva and his consort Parbati. It is virgin mountain because climbing is not allowed due to its religious value. Nepal's standard time is measured through this mountain. Other mountains in Rolwaling ranges are Melungtse, Chekigo, Ramdung etc arranged in symmetric pattern.

Beding is Beautiful valley situated at the base of Mt. Gaurishanker. Beding is recognized internationally as the home of Everest Conquerors. Almost 90% of the residents above 18 years have climbed Everest successfully with some of the world records. Temba Chhiri Sherpa (Youngest Climber), Pemba Dorje Sherpa (Fastest Climber) are the legend of Nepal, proud of Dolkhali and residents of Beding.

· Tshorolpa Glacial Lake
The world famous and most dangerous Tshorolpa glacial lake is world's largest glacial lake situated at the elevation of 4500 m on the northern border. Clusters of snow peaks contribute glacier to the lake. Na valley valley beneath Tshorolpa glacial lake beautiful valley experience always the windy storms. It is also the base camp for Mt. Ramdung Climbers.
· Lamabagar and Lapchi

Lamabagar is the flat, long terrain at the bank of Tamakoshi River in the Northern boundary. It acts as natural dam side for Upper Tamakoshi Hydro electric project. Above Lamabagar is the beautiful village Lapchi lies beyond the mountain range in rocky terrain. Pre historic monastery like Chewar Gompa and Pema Chhitin Gompa are more than 1300 years ago. Lamabagar and Lapchi is the business transit of Nepal to Tibet (Khasha). The neplese and Chinese businessperson before establishment of Araniko Highway used this route.

Beautiful Series of Paternoster Lake in the panchpokhari wetland series is high altitude destination. The high altitude famous pilgrimage site Panchpokhari and Jatapokhari lies above 4500 m. It is the best location for adventure trekkers. The dozens of lake in this region have significance religious value. The major festival occurs during Janai Purnima. Horrible landscape, Smell of Sunapati, and beautiful wildlife are the major attraction on the way to Jatapokhari.
